“Which strategy gives 2 stop loss… gives a target of 8 days…? If there’s one, please share. I will also use it.”

the investigation

In his most-watched strategy video he showed 8 target days for every 2 stop-loss days. In another he told viewers to backtest his rules and give him feedback. We did: six strategies from his own channel, coded as he taught them, the rules written down before the first run, real costs, minute data back to 2015. Then we read his own linked records next to his own words.

What happened when we tested it? ↓
01 / your expectation

What would you expect?

If his rules do what he showed, on how many days in 100 should the target come?

02 / what actually happened

The claim met the data.

Counted his way, by days: of the days that ended at a target or a stop, the share that ended at the target. Bajaj Finance, 5-minute candles, 2 Jan 2017 – 7 Apr 2026, 2,234 traded days, costs included. His own three weeks, re-run with the same code, were real: 10 target days, 4 stop days.

The rules, costs and assumptions in plain words

Six strategies from his own YouTube channel, each coded as he taught it, every rule next to his words and the second he says them (code/backtest/strategies/ and METHOD.md). Where he left a choice open, every reasonable reading is a separate version. We wrote the rules down, each linked to his words, before running them. The dated rule files name other people’s social-media accounts, so we keep them privately and publish their sha256: eacd7c97…ba99 (S1–S2) and d8a74cd0…13f1 (S3–S6). These are our own dated files, not a third-party timestamp.

S1, his VWAP + Fibonacci pivots + Stoch RSI, 5-minute candles: nothing before 10:45; entry on the break of a pivot, VWAP or the day’s high or low with the VWAP filter and Stoch RSI support; stop 0.5% and target 1% (his “small stop loss say of 15 rupees, and target of 30 rupees”, the channel’s English subtitle); two trades a day; flat at 15:20. On Bajaj Finance, Reliance, HDFC Bank and HDFC Ltd, the stocks he named.

Data: NSE stocks and indices from free Kaggle / Hugging Face 1-minute files (unofficial sources), ending 7 Apr 2026 (stocks) and 14 May 2026 (indices), more than 30 days before publication. Gold and Nasdaq (US100 CFD): Dukascopy Bank 1-minute BID and ASK, January 2015 – September 2026.

Costs: S1 NSE intraday charges (STT, exchange charge, stamp duty, SEBI fee, GST) + 0.02% slippage per market or stop fill + ₹20 an order. S2 an at-the-money option cost model in index points. Gold: the real spread + $0.05 slippage + $0.07/oz commission. Nasdaq: the spread + 0.5 + 0.25 points. Every headline reading also runs with zero costs and with the most favourable order of events inside a minute (results/).

Checked on a second data source: Bank Nifty and Nifty on Hugging Face minute data, May 2021 – May 2026. 83.9% of Bank Nifty trades are the same trade to the minute, and the target-hit rate is 27.4% on both sources.

What a backtest cannot code: zones chosen by eye, “smart” stops, news judgement, candle reading after a year of practice. The code follows his rules, not his hand. On the four days he walked through in his Bank Nifty video, the code found fewer winners than he did: that gap is his judgment, which no code can copy.

The clean code shown in our YouTube episode (code/backtest/) gives exactly the trades of the audit engine that wrote the CSVs (code/engine/), float for float; code/tests/ checks it, and code/tools/proofrun/bb_run.py re-runs all six and compares every number with results/.

8 in 10? Counted his way, by days.

His exact S1 rules, costs included. Of the days that ended at a target or a stop, the share that ended at the target. His own three weeks (27 Jul – 14 Aug 2020), re-run: 10 target days, 4 stop days. His three weeks were one of the best stretches we found: about 1 three-week stretch in 40 was that good, 13 times in nine years. He filmed the latest three weeks.

Title: his words, our translation. His New York session setup on gold, 1:1, 141 months with 10 or more trades, January 2015 – September 2026. Counted his way (targets against stop-losses, no costs), no month ever reached 88%; 82% once, in March 2020, under the strictest reading. Overall after costs: 42.0% of 2,588 trades.

Target hit after costs, his exact rules on his own markets (S1 counted by days, the others per trade). Every number he put on these setups — 8 in 10, 7 in 10, 60–70%, 82–88% months — came out at 2 to 4 targets in 10 when coded as he taught them. The 60–70% was his yardstick for any strategy.

“Only for a foreign audience or NRIs.” And the chapter below it.

His description of “Best Broker for Gold Trading” (7 Oct 2026), as shown on 20 Oct 2026: “As per the FEMA Act, it is illegal to trade pairs without INR Currency or use brokers not registered in India… Any forex-related content on this channel is intended only for a foreign audience or NRI’s all across the world.” The same description: “Open Your Forex Account in Zuperior” with referralCode=ANISH, an Exness link with “Partner Code: *bbi*”, and the chapter “01:32 – Zuperior for Indian Users”, where he talks of INR methods and money that stays inside India, and adds “tum khud try karo” (our translation: try it yourself). Zuperior’s own terms list the United States and the United Arab Emirates as restricted regions; they do not name India. The first link in his Instagram bio is the same Zuperior referral.

our opinion the disclaimer and the chapter point in opposite directions.

Asked about it live. His answer.

Live, 19 Oct 2026, he reads out a viewer’s question (1:49:48): “Why are you written forex is ban in India but you promote it in India?” He answers that his legal team wrote the disclaimer (“karna padta hai professionally”; our translation: it has to be done professionally). Then (1:50:05): “I promote it everywhere, not just in India. Remember this. Aap maximum log India se hain” (our translation: most of you are from India). His reason (1:50:09), in our summary of his words: he never gives a broker that would eat your money, and he at least tells you which broker is right. Then (1:50:31): “But you are right. You are smart… kyunki main bhi smart hun” (our translation: because I am smart too).

our opinion the disclaimer and the answer point in different directions. You decide.

“India mein koi bhi broker legal nahi hai.”

Live, 18 Jun 2026, asked whether Zuperior is legal in India: “Zuperior ya duniya ka koi bhi broker India mein legal nahi hai” (our translation: Zuperior or any broker in the world is not legal in India). Then: “To jo ye companies grey area mein kaam karti hai, aapko India ke India deposit withdrawal deti hai, isliye is pe trade kar sakte ho” (our translation: these companies work in a grey area, they give you India-to-India deposits and withdrawals, that’s why you can trade on this), and “aapko karna hai to apne risk pe karte ho” (our translation: if you want to, it’s at your own risk). At 40:44, between those two lines: “To bhai yaad rakhna, India mein koi bhi broker legal nahi hai” (our translation: so remember, brother, no broker in India is legal). On his screen, a ₹15,000 UPI deposit to a payee he calls random, not Zuperior’s; we do not show or name the payee. Live, 28 Sep 2026: “India ke andar rehte ho, recommend Zuperior… dekho, main aapko koi cheez ka guarantee nahi de sakta ki Zuperior use karoge to aapka bank freeze nahi…” (our translation: if you live inside India, I recommend Zuperior… look, I can’t guarantee you anything, that if you use Zuperior your bank won’t freeze…); his advice, “chaar-paanch account khol ke rakho… zero rakho balance, payout aaya, transfer karo” (our translation: keep four or five accounts, zero balance, when a payout comes, transfer it out). He adds: “bahut hi kam cases hote hain” (our translation: there are very few cases).

04

His legal reading, and RBI’s sentence.

17 Aug 2024, his words, in this order. First: “Agar sab ban hai to sab kuch ban hai… FEMA Act ke through, because you are not an authorised person” (our translation: if everything is banned, everything is banned). Then: “…you are not doing anything illegal as of now… jab tak ki aap Exness Cyprus ke bank account mein deposit nahi karte paisa, ya unse apne Indian bank account mein paisa nahi lete” (our translation: as long as you don’t deposit money into Exness Cyprus’s bank account, or take money from them into your Indian bank account). That is his reading. This is RBI’s sentence (press release 2022-2023/1703, 10 Feb 2023): “It is also reiterated that residents using any means to remit/deposit funds, directly or indirectly, in INR or in any other currency, for undertaking forex transactions for purposes other than those permitted under the FEMA or on ETPs not authorised by the RBI shall render themselves liable for penal action under the provisions of FEMA.” In the same 2024 video he says RBI’s list names Exness; it is no. 6 on RBI’s Alert List (since 7 Sep 2022; list updated 19 Nov 2025). His descriptions carry an Exness partner code (bbi, as linked on 7 Oct 2026) next to his line that the content is for NRIs.

SEBI: in 2020 he asked for the number. In 2024 his company got one.

15 Oct 2020, on a phone call to a tip-seller: “SEBI registered ho kya?… Registration number kya hai?” (our translation: are you SEBI registered? what is the registration number?), and later “Abhi to check kiya bhai, nahi hai tera registered SEBI mein” (our translation: I just checked, you are not registered with SEBI). In June 2024 his company Booming Bulls Finserv became a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, INH000016348 (per SEBI’s list as mirrored on 23 May 2026; the certificate is on the company’s own site). It sells Telegram signal plans: ₹8,259 a month, ₹18,880 a quarter, ₹49,999 a year (its home page, 20 Oct 2026). Fair: his 2020 test was the registration number, and his company got one. A registered Research Analyst may sell recommendations, and the line in his descriptions, “Booming Bulls is not a registered investment advisor”, is accurate: an analyst is not an adviser.

“67% precise trades”, and SEBI’s advertisement code.

The Finserv home page on 20 Oct 2026: “67% Precise Trades delivered in the last Week” and “Copy Proven Signals by Joining Our SEBI Certified Telegram Channel”. In his 3 Apr 2026 video: “Hum SEBI registered hain… ab main koi ROI claim nahi karne wala… SEBI registered hamara VIP group join kar sakte ho jo ki paid hai” (our translation: we are SEBI registered… now I am not going to claim any ROI… you can join our SEBI-registered VIP group, which is paid). Five minutes earlier in the same video he spoke of 500% ROI on an account he says is his brother’s: profit over an “average ₹4.5 lakh used”, on an account he says he funded with more. SEBI’s advertisement code for analysts (5 Apr 2023) says an advertisement “shall not imply any assured returns or minimum returns or target return or percentage accuracy…”, and among what an advertisement shall not contain lists “Reference to past performance of the IA/RA.” Whether that is compliant is SEBI’s and the exchange’s call, not ours. Fair: the mandated disclaimer sits on the company’s compliance page; the “67%” sits on the home page.

“Free”: what the links say.

He ended his course in August 2025 (“main padhana band kar raha hun”; our translation: I am stopping teaching), and his Instagram bio says “No Course”: true on our evidence. The links did not end. Live, 19 Oct 2026, a viewer asks to learn from him: “Bhai main free mein padhata hun” (our translation: I teach for free). On 4 Sep 2026 he says you need an account through one of two broker links, and “ye dono mein account kholne ke baad tumko classes bhi milengi, saath mein mera VIP trades” (our translation: after opening an account in either you also get classes, plus my VIP trades). His “Indian Market VIP” page: “Open your Lemonn account”, “Complete your first F&O trade”, “VIP access unlocks automatically”; the page shows no price and no disclaimer. SEBI’s own study (23 Sep 2024): 93% of over 1 crore individual F&O traders incurred average losses over FY22 to FY24. Commission, in his own words.

17 Aug 2024: “Kyunki main Exness promote karta hun… to mujhe commission milta hai… aur sirf mujhe nahi, saare YouTubers ko milta hai” (our translation: because I promote Exness I get a commission, and not just me, all YouTubers get it). Of any YouTuber who gives a broker link: “it is a totally sponsored video because you will get commission.” Exness’s own affiliate terms, as we read them: partners earn up to 40% of revenue from referred clients’ trades. Live, 19 Oct 2026, asked what Zuperior paid him: “ye broker naya tha to inhone mere ko kuch paise diye… theek-thaak diye” (our translation: this broker was new, so they gave me some money… a decent amount), and “So yes, I take money from every brands… but iska ye matlab nahi hai ki main galat promote kar dunga” (our translation: but that doesn’t mean I will promote something wrong). He said it on camera, which most don’t; we make no claim about what he earns.

09

Prop firms, and his partner code.

17 Aug 2024: “…aur YouTubers jo promote kar rahe hain unko unka commission usi fees mein se, jo aap fees pay karne wale ho” (our translation: the YouTubers who promote them get their commission out of the fee you pay), and “Maine koi [prop firm] aaj tak… promote nahi kari” (our translation: I have never promoted one to this day). 4 Mar 2026, live: “Partner code mein Anish daal dena… twenty-five percent ka discount hai” (our translation: put Anish in the partner code… there is a 25% discount). In our summary of his words (6 Sep 2025, 8:13), he promotes Funded Friday because he trusts its payouts, and he is not its owner. We make no claim about Funded Friday.

The $100,000 giveaway.

realshyt proof data pack: https://realshyt.com/proof/anish-singh-thakur-booming-bulls-strategy-backtest

What this is: our backtest of six strategies Anish Singh Thakur (Booming Bulls) teaches on his own YouTube channel, coded as he taught them, each rule next to his words and the second he says them: VWAP + pivots + Stoch RSI (Bajaj Finance, Reliance, HDFC Bank, HDFC Ltd), ADX + Supertrend + pivots (Bank Nifty, Nifty), the Sniper Headshot Entry, the order block + FVG 50% line and the New York session setup (gold), and the Nasdaq 5-minute setup. 57 versions of his rules, with real costs. Our test, our method, our opinion. Not financial advice.
